Many people have good ideas, but often get tangled up with communicating and delivering clear, meaninful syntax. The first thing Webduty when creating copy is to indentify the target audience so that the proper language is used. A few rules you should use when writing include:
- Keep sentences short
- Vary sentence structure
- Use the active voice, not passive
- Chose action verbs, not passive verbs
- Use adjectives and adverbs sparingly and avoid the exclamation mark
